You
I wasn’t born with eyes
Born without the urge for light, it bothered me not
But you were light and beauty and suddenly I couldn’t remember the darkness.
I wasn’t born with ears
Born without the urge for music, it bothered me not
But you were music and laughter and soon I forgot the
silence.
I wasn’t born with a tongue
Born without the urge for speech, it bothered me not
But you were speeches and questions, suddenly I forgot
to be mute.
I wasn’t born with nostrils
Born without the urge for breath, it bothered me not
But you were breath leaving me breathless and soon all
I could do was breathe.
I wasn’t born with a face
Born without the urge for an identity, it bothered me
not
But you were, in a way, my identity, my direction and soon I
could lead.
Simply put
I wasn’t born human
Born without blood, skin and bones, I hid that it
bothered me
Yet, You, full of blood, flesh and bones, You made me
feel human.
Can't be the only one that felt thissss
